Privacy Policy
What JPFOLIO collects when you use this site, why, and how to have it removed.
Last updated: August 2026
1. Who this policy covers
This policy applies to jpfolio.info (the “Site”), operated by Jyotiprakash Murmu (“JP”, “I”, “me”), based in Cuttack, Odisha, India. It explains what personal information is collected through the Site, how it’s used, and the choices available to visitors.
2. Information collected through the forms
When you submit the Contact or Services inquiry form, the following is collected:
- Name and email address
- The service you selected and any business/brand name you provide
- The message you write
Automatically, alongside your submission, the form also captures: the marketing campaign parameters (UTM source/medium/campaign/content/term) and click identifiers (gclid, gbraid, wbraid) present in the URL you arrived from, the referring page, the page URL you submitted from, and a timestamp. This is used to understand which channel a genuine inquiry came from — not to build an advertising profile of you.
3. Where it’s stored
Form submissions are sent directly to a private Google Sheet via a Google Apps Script, accessible only to JP. No form data is sold, rented, or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
4. Cookies and local storage
The Site uses your browser’s sessionStorage — not a cookie — to remember campaign parameters (like a UTM source) for the duration of your visit, so they’re still attached if you fill out a form on a later page. This clears automatically when you close the tab. The Site does not currently run any advertising pixel, analytics tracker, or cross-site cookie.
5. Third-party services embedded on this Site
- Google Fonts — typefaces are loaded from Google’s font CDN.
- LinkedIn Profile Badge (Contact page) — loads a script from linkedin.com to display JP’s live profile card; this is governed by LinkedIn’s own privacy policy, not this one.
Each of these may set its own cookies or collect data under its own policy when its script loads, independent of anything JPFOLIO itself collects.
6. How your information is used
Solely to respond to your inquiry, evaluate a potential working relationship, and keep a record of business correspondence. It is not used for unrelated marketing, and is not sold or shared with third parties.
7. How long it’s kept
Submitted inquiries are kept for as long as reasonably necessary for business record-keeping, or until you request deletion (see below).
8. Your choices
You can request a copy of the information JPFOLIO holds about you, or ask for it to be deleted, at any time by emailing jyotiprakashmurmu2000@gmail.com.
9. Children’s privacy
This Site is intended for business and professional inquiries and is not directed at children. It does not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
10. Changes to this policy
This policy may be updated as the Site’s functionality changes — for example, if analytics or additional tracking is added later. The “Last updated” date above will reflect the most recent revision.
